Registered Nurse (RN)

We are a busy, patient-centered medical-surgical practice committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Our team is looking for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing office.

The RN will support daily clinical operations including patient visits, in-office procedures, clinical communication, and patient education. This role is ideal for a nurse who is organized, confident, and enjoys building relationships with patients in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
•Room patients and complete thorough assessments
•Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and treatments
•Triage and respond to patient questions via phone and patient portal
•Administer injections, medications, and wound care as directed
•Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
•Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient, high-quality care
•Support office protocols, safety standards, and clinical best practices

Qualifications
•Current RN license (state-specific) in good standing
•Previous medical-surgical, outpatient, or similar clinical experience preferred
•Strong communication and patient-education skills
•Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
•EMR experience preferred

Scrub Tech

Bangor Plastic and Hand Surgery, a private plastic surgery practice, is seeking a full time Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. Along with handling instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during surgical procedures, this position will also provide medical assistance to support our physicians during in-office patient visits.

Requirements
Graduate of accredited scrub tech program
Surgical Technologist Certification
Minimum 2 years experience as Surgical Technologist
Current BLS certification.

Our surgery center offers NO On-Call, NO weekends and NO Holidays.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (Per Diem)

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only - no holidays, weekends, or call.

Required Skills
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Maine. Must be BLS and ACLS certified. Experience working as a circulator or recovery nurse required.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Responsibilities:
· Greet patients and perform patient intake process
· Maintain and update patient medical records in the EMR
· Pre-plan patient visit with all necessary testing and referrals prior to the visit
· Coordinate with testing labs
· Prepare and stock treatment rooms with proper instruments and supplies
· Assist Provider during exam and in office procedures
· Take patient calls/answers patient questions
· Receive and process prescription requests

The ideal candidate will have:
•Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR received certification from a nationally recognized program:
•American Association of Medical Assisting (AAMA)
•National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
•National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
•BLS (required within 6 months)
•3 years or more experience
•Proficient computer skills
•Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures
•Ability to work independently, effective time management and problem solving skills
•Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
•Strong oral and written communication skills
